4 Drinks To Keep In Rotation To Reduce Inflammation — Pt.4
1. Jamaican Carrot + Cinnamon Juice
Sweet, grounding, skin-loving. An ode to my Jamaican roots and a drink my grandmother made us weekly. This one feels like nourishment you can actually feel and your skin will start looking a little more alive, It’s grounding, a little indulgent, but still doing the work behind the scenes.
How to make: (Nama J2 Juicer Method)
6–8 large carrots (chopped)
1-inch fresh ginger
½ tsp cinnamon (or 1 small stick infused after juicing)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional but very Jamaican)
1–2 tbsp condensed milk OR coconut milk (optional for creaminess)
1–2 cups water (to thin if needed)
Directions:
Juice carrots and ginger first, stir in cinnamon and extra ingredients to your desired taste and consistency.
2. Warm Celtic Salt Water
Hydration upgraded. You feel hydrated in a deeper way, not just sloshing liquid around. It’s subtle, but your body feels more balanced and steady.
How to make:
12-16 oz warm filtered water
Small pinch (literally a pinch) of Celtic Sea Salt
